Aramid stringing with a dropweight machine
Question:
I'm a fairly new stringer and use a portable drop-weight machine. Last week, I had some problems when installing a Kevlar hybrid. While trying to tension the Kevlar mains, the tensioning bar wouldn't drop down like it does with nylon strings. Is this normal? Should I push the bar down with my hand?
