Cleaning textured clamp faces
Question:
I have been cleaning the teeth on my machine's string clamps fairly regularly, using alcohol and a toothbrush, but the last time I did it I looked closely and saw that there was some string residue still embedded in the texture of my diamond-coated clamp teeth, and it is very difficult to remove. At this point, I am completely disassembling the clamps to clean them as best as I can. Is there a better way?
